An hour left!

Waiting for Shahid!!! uhhhh it's going to be the best award night in history...Shahid sorry Fhahid is going to anchor this time...Just waiting for his "Koi F*** ?" dialouge and his cuteeeeee smile...
I think it's gonna be a nice comedy show with shahrukh and shahid at their best...

All Izz Not Well...

Whether it's a child expecting his results or a teen's status message, a broken heart or a guy in his last round of interview, even an oldie on his death bed, Everyone is influenced by Aamir's famous "All Izz Well" technique.
Today I came across an article that is quite hilarious, so thought of sharing it...
This "piece" gives us an idea of the impact "3 Idiots" had on young minds...
It says...
Guptajee, along with his family, went for a night show of 3 Idiots. All of them had a great time together.
Next day Guptajee's son woke up late, yawning and lazy, small Pintu said to his father "Papa I want to sell popcorns" . Mr. Gupta smiled and replied "Beta you are small now. First complete your studies and then think about other stuffs." Smart Pintu shot back "Papa didn't u see yesterday? the whole crowded theatre and it's ambience...The popcorn counter was overflooded. And by the way Aamir said Karo wahi jisme mann lage". Hearing this Guptajee alerted his son about his doomed future.
Pintu said casually "
Bakra kya jaane uski jaan ka kya hoga? Seekh ghusegi ya saala kheema hoga.
Koi na jaane apna future kya hoga."
Now Guptajee's anger went out of bounds, he frowned and fumbled "You have gone insane. Do you know how much I am spending for your studies?"
But Pintu beta was in so much awe of Aamir uncle, he replied "Papa, Aamir uncle said, if you want to enter classroom and study, you don't need money. What you need is just a Uniform. So chill dad".
Now Guptajee started trembling. He called on his wife and shouted "See, your son is showing me attitude. Stop his pocket money from today itself".
Pintu gave 1 notorious smile "Papa aap apna pocket money apne paas rakhiye aur main apna attitude apne paas rakh leta hoon ".
Mr. Gupta lost his control and slapped Pintu and asked him "Ab popcorn bechega?"
Pintu didn't cry neither was he upset , infact he put his right hand on his heart and said "All izz well, All izz well."
Fir to apna mast Pintu hero "honth ghumaya, seeti bajaya " and went out to play. And Guptajee was left alone stunned ,with his wife in the house.

Really, 3 Idiots brought a revolutionary change in our minds. We have young Bhagat Singhs in each and every house today. And the entire lot of parents are left out with one phrase "All izz not well".

Why India still has social issues??...

Today India celebrated the glory of its 61st republic day in Rajpath, Delhi...Though again i woke up late, but i was able to catch up with the remaining programme on tv...Amongst the dense cloud of fog i got glimpses of our famous ministers chidambaram , mamta banerjee , prime minister manmohan singh, speaker meira kumar and obviously the first lady pratibha patil...
President conferred the ashok chakra on major mohit sharma, major shreeram kumar, and havildar rajesh kumar...I felt a certain pride to see major rishima sharma, wife of major mohit sharma who received the award on behalf of her late husband...

What was most spectacular was the defence force of india...indian air force displayed the models of sukhoi (fighter aircraft designed by russia) and advanced trainer jet(british single engine)...DRDO flaunted its AGNI 3 (R73 missile) which carries nuclear weapons and shaurya missile (surface to surface strategic missile) with hypersonic speed...and not to miss the multi-faceted ROHINI , a battlefield surveillance radar...

The show came to an end with "jhankis" from different regions exhibiting their unique culture...
In these growing years India's defence has evolved to be much capable but what she lacks is the social reformers...Maybe Rahul Gandhi is the one as he is encouraging the youth of india to join politics...Because it is only YOU - the youth who can change the old orthodox beliefs of elders and initiate spreading harmony among different states, religion and caste...otherwise forget about "aman ki asha" among different countries...
if u don't have "aman" in your own country only...

Today India not only has divisons on the basis of religion but also caste wise and state wise division...look at the reservations made, it is promoting a certain group of people...whole education system is getting biased including IIT's and IIM's...we say our political leaders are corrupt, they do such things to get false publicity and votes from minority groups...but is the government only responsible? what about us?...
If someone asks his/her parents that he/she wants to marry a person from lower caste...they say "nooo"... see its us only who are differentiating nah? isn't it?...
Coming to state wise divison...look at the Telangana controversy...and then there's Mayawati who wants to divide UP into 3 states...thankfully Nitish Kumar atleast speaks about uniting Jharkhand and Bihar...Mamta Banerjee arranges free railway passes for Bengal artists...why?
Indian Railways belongs to Bengal or what? what is Raj Thackrey doing? throwing out biharis out of Maharashtra...and in retaliation i wonder what biharis are gonna do...funny mannn!!! our elders are so much pre-occupied with these issues...and what does the youth do? following their parent's footsteps?? come out of it...set your own ethics, this division among people on the basis of caste, state and religion are petty issues...just saying bombarding words about advancement doesn't makes you modern and updated...
Its high time, we have to vary from our pre-set ethics...
Ever thought about the illiteracy and corruption prevailing in states like bihar, jharkhand rajasthan,up?? one and only major issue is dowry...if you still believe in this kind of tradition then how do you call yourself as educated?...it's kind of a market where they sell guys on the basis of his educational qualification...IES is on rank 1 ...then comes engineers, doctors, ....and what is the youth doing? As i say ,following their tradition blindly...think!!! people say dowry is kind of aashirwaad from bride's family to the groom...then why not give less aashirwaad to the IES officer coz he is already settled and more aashirwaad to the less settled ones... :) :) :)
i request all you biharis, up-ites, marwaris, gujratis , punjabis, bengalis whosoever practises this evil of dowry...try to convince your parents regarding this, you can make a change...youth can remove this barrier of inter-caste, inter-state, inter-religion and the malpractise "dowry system"...if you can not convince them atleast don't follow these ETHICS when you grow up as parents...don't make your child's life a HELL...
what will be the outcome of all this bias? can you bring peace with your so called ETHICS??
NEVER...
If you want to make a better india...CHANGE YOURSELF...YOUR VIEWS...have clear unbiased thoughts without any influence, don't get supressed under the false idea of ethics...and please make some effort coz unless there is some heat you can never get water...
we can make a better india then...

P.S. : No offence to any caste ,creed or religion neither did i wanted to hurt the sentiments.
I am an Indian and i am proud to be one.

voice recognition.....

Today i felt like experimenting with my mobile...i thought of making use of this "voice recognition" facility...
i knew about this facility from the very beginning, but never actually tried my hands on it....
it was like first i had to go thro' this rigorous voice recognition training...
in which they will ask us to pronounce all such tongue twister crappy names...
so i am finally done with my training...
now i went to this voice command section...i heard how they pronounce "silent" "general" "missed call" ....i must say it was quite an experience :) ...
now i was happy that i'm gonna order my phone "papa" ... and without a second's delay the call will be done...
so in full enthusiasm i just went to standby mode...and spoke "zilent" (silent) and yesssss my phone went to silent mode...then "gggenerol" (general) back to general mode....
koool....
so now i thought lemme call bro...so i said "debayan"...ohhh shehhh...wats dis?
i got this list :
deepa
dtdc
bank
dev sir...
and now its "calling deepa" ....arey yaar...it was better to have called manually from the contact list or the shortcut key....
anyways now i decided to use voice commands "only" for putting the cell in "silent or general" mode...
and as far as calling is concerned , mann i will have to practise hardddd to get those names correct...or else i'll have to get a high quality microphone to make this recognition software a success....and moreover its not necessary that i'll get pin drop silence in my surroundings while making a call....
and i think wat i'll get outta all this is...someone will call on me as dipshikha...and i will correct and say...
no no its not dipshikha its "dddep sh ka"....

Tiger as Pet...???

Its damn cold here in ranchi but afternoons are cozy :) .....so i went to my balcony to comfort myself in the direct sunlight...hmmm itz amazinnn.... okie so i have my newspaper, 1 glass choco pista milk shake (courtesy me) and nokia 5610 with me...
newspaper 1st page, 2nd page , erghhhh its all borinnn shittt written here.... now milkshake is a better option.....and lemme stroll in the balcony.... ooohh there is this cute lil' dog in my neighbour's terrace chasing the birds frantically. i don't know what problem it (confused whether he/she) has with those chirping birds.....
wowww now this dog is actually standing on it's 2 legs resting other 2 on the parapet enjoying the panaroma...
or may be it is searching for some gossip or news/ or hitting on some female... i cudn't control myself...picked up my cell...nd click click...have a look....

come on doggy...look at me baby ....ya again click click.....

dogs seems to be wonderful posing from neighbour's terrace...at my place? ohh no..... i am afraid of dogs......they bark and they bite....uhhhh... now back to my newspaper...

what i see is "TIGER AS PETS"......are u kidding me?? ...huh and i was afraid that dogs bark and bite.....imagine what a tiger would do? roar and kill?.....goshhh!!! after some years i would see tiger on the terrace "smiling at me" "posing for me".....

Neways.....
The article says that Indonesian government is selling away 30 tigers as pet, coz they wanted to protect this critically endangered species from further poaching... come on

stop this crap
...the sole reason behind this is making money dude...
67000 pounds a pair imagine!!! It has become a status symbol for the elite group... even michael jackson, mike tyson had this passion...
Hey man! if you possess so much property then why not support poor humans who are in need of money rather than tigers who live peacefully in their habitats...
If real measures need to be taken, then environmentalists and government should take some precautionary measures against china's trade in tiger parts... chinese traders find india to be a potential supplier of tigers...use of tiger parts in chinese traditional medicine is the epicentre of poaching activities in china... and in the chinese new year 2010 which is also "year of tiger" the traders will find an opportunity to increase profits..."since everyone will demand a tiger skin next year"...

So INDIA BEWAREEE!!!!!! Please don't let these chinese exploit our assets...Save tigers and their habitats instead of destroying wildlife for human fantasies...

Hmmmm.....so i'm done with my milkshake, newspaper and photography...now back
to my room...may be i'll watch some movie :)

au revoir.....salut.....

Flashback.....

peep peep peep peep......what's this?
oh stop it man!!
i am busy with ma chicken soup (its a book- collection f short stories...for those who don't know)
i went for my mobile...ohh shitttt....its a reminder.....

Today is 22nd jan...its ma friend Arunima's b'day...(how can i forget......ooopsss)......
she is in Pune now doing her final year medical...

Its been near about 7 years since we met coz when i was in 10th papa got transfered to Ranchi....
and she went to kolkata for her +2 studies...
Life passed on, she opted for medical and i went to bhubaneswar for ma engineering...

Without wasting any time further i called her.....
"Happy B' Day.....dear...." , even on her b' day she was busy with her vivas and all....
these medical students have to go thro' a lotttt...i tell u.....
hospital to hostel room and vice versa......

Point to be noted : They have skeleton in their room (erghhhh it scares me)

Neways......
After our conversation, i was reminded of so many memoirs...i spent my entire childhood with her.....we used to be the bestest of buddies.....

strolling in vasant vihar lanes , cycle racing ,playing baddy, gossiping at its extreme, watching infinite movies at a stretch, calling anonymous people ,chat friends and making full use of PARALLEL connection....discussing crushes......attending parties together in club...playing video games for long long hours......music class (jayanti aunty) , painting class.... and we did so many "nautankis" (drama) together...buying imlis (tamarind) from shops which was strictly prohibited for us...

We used to build idols of maa durga and chant mantras( which we hardly knew) and also went for "visarjan" (courtesy papa who took us to the spot).....then in saraswati puja picking "ber"(zizyphus) from trees and sharing.....

infact we bought our first "salwaar suit" together after such long discussions coz we hate to wear that.....and i remember our "piya piya" dance (rani and preity).... we were in so much awe to get those red t-shirts with "HOT" written on it.....

In this journey of life, we tend to forget so many things which at some point used to be so important to us.....
We expect so many things from our friends that they will call us everyday, they should always be in touch....but here comes the biggest irony......
How much do we think about them???
Its like, i am not gonna call first, let her call.....or may be she is busy.....
or may be she doesn't wanna talk anymore.......what if she also thinks the same???
Its almost the same for majority of people i have come across with.....
So i wanna say for all of them that, life is too short.....from your busy schedule take out some time for your friends.....and there is no harm in initiating a conversation first.......

today i cherish those moments spent wid ma old childhood frenz...and at the same time regret coz i have lost touch with some of dem......

cheers to all ma frenz.......
